Tuica Label

Tuica is a traditional Romanian plum brandy. I acquired a taste for it In 2019 when my wife and I visited her family. During that time I also began learning about Romanian tradition and lore. The central image on the label is that of the Dacian Draco, a serpent like creature used as the standard ensign of troops of the ancient Dacian people native to the Romanian region.

The label design was hand drawn on the iPad Pro in Procreate and then vectorized in Adobe Illustrator.
