Aerial Intelligence (formerly Colorado Aerial Imaging) specializes in deploying UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) and conducting drone based inspections of power lines and other electrical structures that are more easily inspected from the air. They then collect and deliver visual data on areas in need of repair.
The primary objective for the rebrand is to expand their operational reach and garner business beyond their current regional grasp. The name change was obviously a good place to start, but they also needed a logo and color palette that could stand out in the competitive landscape on a national level. From a design standpoint my mission was to steer the brand away from the drone operating space and more into the data and technology space. While the drone is their primary tool and integral to their data gathering process, at the end of the day the value is in the data they provide.
